Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Compliance
The Office for Equal Opportunity (OEO) carries out monitoring activities to ensure WSU is in compliance with state and federal equal employment opportunity and affirmative action laws.
- OEO develops WSU’s affirmative action plan.
- OEO audits WSU environment for posters, materials, and activities that violate WSU’s discrimination and sexual harassment policy.
- OEO communicates with state and federal government agencies regarding compliance, audits, and reporting.
The following are excerpts from WSU’s 2015-2017 Affirmative Action Plans. This information is based on data from the fall of the prior year (ex. 2017 goals analysis utilizes data from Fall 2016).
